Visit one of the most ecologically rich national parks at Manual Antonio Park. See the biodiversity of ecosystems and sceneries in the central Pacific area of Costa Rica with a Spanish and English-speaking guide. First, after you’ve bought your National Park entry ticket ahead of time online, you’ll meet your guide at the park entrance. After a security check by the park rangers, begin a hike at a slow pace to find as much wildlife as possible. As you go, hear about the natural history of the animals as well as the history and ecosystems of the area. The guide will carry a spotting scope to provide you with a close view of the wildlife and pictures as well. In order to set some expectations, here some of the animals we can normally find in our hikes through the park: sloths, monkeys, bats, birds, iguanas, lizards, deers, agoutis, snakes among others, every day is different in a park where animals are wild and free, therefore it is always a nice surprise to see all of this different wildlife in it’s natural habitat. Next, stop at the park cafeteria for a break, where you will enjoy some fresh tropical fruit and a natural drink (small group and private tour options). After the short break, hike some more until you reach Manuel Antonio Beach, rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Finally, whenever you’re ready get back to the starting spot of the hike. From here, take advantage of the restaurants, supermarkets, and souvenir shops near the meeting point. North Espadilla Beach is also nearby, in case you want to stay and hang out on your own after the tour.
